Hey everyone! I hope you like the update I did to my blog, I’ve decided to change my schedule a bit with Monday consisting of tags. So, I found this tag on Ruthsic’s blog, and it was created by Natys Bookshelf.
A Library Book
The Nightingale by Kristin Hannah
A Book You Got As A Gift
Sweet Black Waves #1 by Kristina Perez
A Childhood Book
Where The Sidewalk Ends by Shel Silverstein
A Magical Book
All of the Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling
A Romantic Book
Heartstopper: Volume One by Alice Oseman
A Steamy Book
The Darkest Night (Lords of the Underworld #1) by Gena Showalter
An Old Book
I have first editions of the whole Hush Hush saga by Becca Fitzpatrick, that I’ve had on my shelves the longest (I believe since 2008/09 ish?)
A Book That Makes You Happy/Laugh
When Dimple Met Rishi by Sandhya Menon – one of my all-time favourite contemporaries, I loved this so so much!
A Book That Makes You Emotional
The Sun Is Also A Star by Nicola Yoon – Another contemporary I adored that was so poignant and important at the moment and broke my heart, even though from the premise I expected it to!
A Book Whose Ending You Dislike
The end of the Sweet series by Wendy Higgins – this fell a bit flat for me and left me wanting more.
A Book You Wish Had Illustrations
This is a difficult one, but for me I’d love either The Young Elites #1 by Marie Lu as I’d love to see all the powers and the setting brought to life or The Wrath & The Dawn #1 by Renee Ahdieh as I think the setting of this and story would be soo cool to see drawn out – especially with a cool artsy style.
A Book or Genre You Love Reading When It’s Raining
For me, it would have to either be a sad contemporary to reflect the weather (aha) or a comfort re-read like Harry Potter or something similar.
Thanks for reading! Feel free to tag yourselves, and let me know if you do end up doing this tag!
I feel good that I know some of the titles
